Has anyone tried upgrading a KH freestyle 20" to a trials wheelset with a splined hub with 42mm bearings?
The KH freestyle is designed to accept 40mm diameter bearings. Can it fit the larger 42mm bearings by using longer bearing cup holder bolts?

Re: Fitting 42mm bearings in KH freestyle frame
I tried putting a the trials wheel set onto my KH freestyle not realizing the bearing sizes were different. It didn’t seem like there was any good way it would fit, and I’d imagine somthing might get bent using longer bolts. seeing as how I would want to switch back and forth between using the trials and freestyle wheelset. Has anyone tried extracting the bearings off a splined hub and putting on 40mm bearings? I think there is a tool you can get to take the bearings off. I wanted to see if I could save money and just buying a trials wheel set instead buying a whole new unicycle. It might not be worth the effort. Kris if you’re reading this, why did you make the two frames the same size except for the bearing brackets?

Yes, I think this is the real question here - do 40mm OD, 3/4" ID, 19mm width bearings exist? If so then it should be possible.
There is a tool for removing bearings - see Evercraft bearing puller
