First ride after 2 month

My plan was to take a picture on the ride today and post to the “pictures of your last ride” thread - however, I enjoyed the ride so much that I didn’t want to get off to take a picture. So you’re left with this text-only new topic. :wink:

After two months in Iceland without my unicycle I rode the first time in two month today. First I considered taking the 29er because riding the 36’’ right away seemed too scary. However, I couldn’t get myself to not ride the 36 - so I took if onto its regular 18km ride.

It took about 5 meters until I felt completely comfortable again, like I never took a break of riding.

On the way a guy stopped me to say hi because he thought I was someone else. So apparently there is another bearded unicyclist in the valley where I’m from I didn’t know about, yet…

Congrats! I can certainly relate to the feeling of “having too much fun for pictures.”

Well congrats on getting back into it so fast. I am just planning a work trip to Iceland soon but unlike you… I will bring a unicycle with me. :wink:

Last time those of us who are Oslo based went to Iceland on a work trip my company put this on Tiktok just as a fun thing I suppose. I will let you guess which person is me …

Part of my trip was actually even work-related, I held a talk about our use case at one of our software vendors office in Reykjavík.
