What are the “noodles” thing ? Do you have pictures of it (even if it is old rides pics) ? 
They are little metal bits on the crown to secure your non breaking foot while gliding. It definitely was nice to have as I glided past hikers around the corner on the top left along on the outer edge of this path. Got my feet back on half a rev before bombing the stairs on the right. #ZENMOMENT
