The one and only Yellow Unicycle Project. For those of you who arent’ familiar
with Yellow Bike Projects, non-profit organizations often supply a city with
free to use bicycles that townspeople can use for free and leave them for the
next person to use when they arrive at their destination.
The Austin One Wheelers are proud to launch the Earth’s first Yellow Unicycle
Project! Yes that’s right - The Yellow Unicycle Project (YUP) fixes up old
unicycles, paints them yellow, and leaves them around town where they are free
to use, but not to keep. I know, I know - it’s a revolutionary idea and you’re
thinking to yourself “why didn’t I think of that?” That’s OK. You too can start
a Yellow Unicycle Project in your city. Just send your name and address written
on a US fifty dollar bill to the Austin One Wheelers and we will grant you the
exclusive right to use the name “Yellow Unicycle Project” within a fifty-mile
radius of your town. The world is-a changin’. Don’t get left behind on this once
in a lifetime opportunity!!! Brian Berlin

but that would be SO COOL though~!!! maybe it work in a little town where almost
everyone rode unicycles. Well, at least, it sounds like that St. Helen’s
school!
I was thinking about setting up my own such project. With two or three unicycles
at work / college / in the city etc. I could always have ready transport
available. Sadly I think the cost of decent locks would be about the same as the
cost of the unicycles
