Yeah, it does. It looks cooler, the google search bar works better (kinda searches as you type) and it spell checks for you inside text boxes (like the one I’m typing in right now).

Yes, the spell check and a few other features are nice, but I’ve experienced stalling quite often which is annoying.
I had a spellcheck addon for firefox1 that wasn’t as buggy as this one. Oh well… Everything else is cooler, 'cept that bandwidth tester doesn’t work with it anymore.
I just downloaded it then. I don’t use firefox too often but considering it seems to be a lot faster than internet explorer I will probably use it more.
I am kinda frustrated, though, that one of my favorite extensions, Duplicate Tab, doesn’t really work. The key shortcut is Shift-Ctrl-T, but in v2, this doesn’t do anything…
I’m on V1 and it doesnt seem to do anything either, what is it meant to do?
firefox is cool but some times when im typing the search bar comes up and i start typing in there and it wont go away:(
I like the upgrades. Isn’t progress awesome? Also maybe this will help people learn to spell.
well i got firefox2… but ever since they stopped mozilla, i’m upset with them. I use seamonkey most of the time, and regret the fact that advertising took it all away.
Now they skip from firefox 1 to 1.5 to 2.0 without even a change of core… still on gecko 1.8 (or 1.9 they changed the name for no reason as well…)
just a few little addons and some security enhancements and a new skin dont make a new version that skips .5 all the time!
I’m dissapointed in them and have started to use opera. A very very good browser too albeit abit complex.

yeah I’m feeling the same thing… there are a few extensions and themes that I used that are no longer supported…
I’m sure the extension developers will eventually update them to be compatable…
Did they fix that intensly annoying bug wher sometimes when you are typing the search thing appears at the bottom of the window and thinks you are typing in that and won’t go away? to get rid of it, i have to close all the firefox windows and reopen them.

No. That bug got me yesterday while I was typing a forum message. Most frustrating bug ever.
Firefox 2 has pretty much all the same bugs as Firefox 1.5, just a little bit less so.
The spell check is nice, but the Google Toolbar already had that. The interface has been cleaned up a bit along with a few other noticeable changes. Printing seems to be a little bit better, but still has layout problems.
It duplicates the tab, along with it’s history and current scroll position.

yeah that is the best stock feature… just a shame that multizilla only works on mozilla… In fact i might just go witht the last version of mozilla 1.8.11 or sommit… and shove multizilla on it
