Here’s one of my Alaskan buddy Nick. The shot was on a mountain ridge about 20 miles south of Anchorage. It was a great day!

This photo was used in the keynote address at the Symposium of Northeast Accelerator Personnel at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette last Wednesday as the speaker mentioned “improved” safety of modern electrostatic accelerators. I was not the speaker.

I completly forgot about this photo. It’s my buddy on top of Mt St Helens last July. We both hiked to the top to ride to rim and as much as we could on the way down.

It was a blast.
