Government Trail - Snowmass to Aspen, 13 miles of pure heaven. Single track with creek crossings, rock gardens, uphills and downhills, and views that are out of this world beautiful. This time of year, the colors put that sugar coating on a classic MUni ride. Total uphill is around 1000’, total downhill is 1700’, average riding elevation is around 9,000’. Last Sunday, the weather was perfect in every way. Here are a couple of pics from the ride.

Wicked awesome, makes me psyched for the Muni weekend this weekend… makes me wish I had time to search out some trails in NH, the colors there are awesome too…
Granted I’m colorblind, but it’s an excuse to ride 
i can testify that the government trail is probably the best trail ive ever ridden… couldn’t be more perfect.

I was thinking about you when I was rippin it up last weekend. Just like when Logan, you, and I did this summer. Looking forward to riding with you again next summer, there are plenty of other top single track MUni rides here. Baseball in DC, huh?
