I thought the commentaries following the article were a lot more interesting than the article itself. We sure are a polite community by comparison.
As a member of Something Awful, I feel compelled to mention how bad Fark is 
Most general-public (I consider unicyclist.com a bit limited because it’s a specialist forum) forums are pretty rude. To be fair, I’m really surprised that the flaming didn’t start sooner.
In conclusion, this place is awesome.
