Excel

I recently installed Excel for Microsoft. I have made a uni spreadsheet that
does calculations based on wheel size. I wish I could publish it on the web in
functioning form. Does andyone know how?

It could probably be done with ASP or Perl, but I’m not a programmer.

However I would be interested to see your Excel file. You could offer it for
people to just look at on their own and comment back.

Re: Excel

Kip,

Sorry I cannot help with the form, but it does sound interesting. what aspects
of wheel size are you calculating?

Re: Excel

Kip,

Some time ago I did an analysis of forces on a unicycle rolling down an
inclined plane. Equations were developed in that work-up relating wheel
diameter, crank arm length and inclination angle. If you're interested
in it, send me an e-mail. It's in COREL 4 so we may need to do the
transfer using the old fashioned methods. Cya.

Hi

I would like to do it for you if you wish... I am interested in what

it could teach me about my uni as well as extending my web programming skills.

If you send me a copy of your spreadsheet and any ideas for a page design I’ll
get on to it. Perhaps initially just having the server generate spreadsheet
like pages. and if that works think about making some kind of javascript?
cartoon to illustrate a set of results. what do you think?

I’d like to incorporate Scott’s work as well… so Scott if you are willing? I
don’t have Corel but can probably find a way to make sense of whatever you are
able to send me. Perhaps an original Corel file and your best guess at a
format that will work?

Whatd’ya think? I’m keen
