My desktop, fonts, icons, and everything are a lot smaller. The went into display to change the screen resolutions but I can’t get it back to normal. Any suggestions?
With the amount of info you supplied, I could give you the steps to try to change your screen resolution in Windows. Are you using Windows?
Did you already try this?
If so, what happened?
How did it change in the first place?
Are you sure it’s a screen resolution thing?
Got spyware or adware (if it’s Windows, assume the answer is effectively yes)?
A similar thing happend to me like that. Everytime i go to any website all the words are alot bigger. I think i hit some hot key that caused it to change.
My first thought would be that your resolution is really high, but if you already tried that to no avail I’d suggest making sure your DPI is at the normal size (96 dpi, right click on desktop -> properties -> settings ->advanced -> check the DPI setting).

Assuming you use Internet Explorer go to View -> Text Size -> Medium
With Firefox press Ctrl + +
With Opera just press + on the number pad

Hog tie me and pull out the branding iron, that was a burn involving serious ownage.
DPI is 96, resolution is high, but anything lower messes with the colors, makes things look low quality. The font has changed and has changed in every program. Firefox, Real Player, the start menu and bar, everything.
It probably is a virus. Stoopid Windows.
hold Ctrl and move the scroll wheel, i think J Pott enlightened me to that one.

In that case make sure that the Color Quality (next to the resoulation settings) is at 32 bit after you adjust the resolution.
