I am learning to make a web page so I have started a really lame one here.
It has the most recent drawing (rough, sketchy, rotated) of the epicyclic hub that I am designing. I have found stock internal gears to be both weak and expensive but I will continue my search. If I can find nothing stouter at a reasonable price I will go with the one shown. It is a steel gear with a 1/4" face but the effective face width should increase proportionally with the number of planet gears. Presently, I plan to have at least four and the drawing shows six.
More interesting, of course, are the photos of the undergraduates I get to ride with at work.
