Seen so Tony Blair is in charge again whos bright idea was it to say they will stop yob culture? I think this is a riddiculous thing to aim for and a impossible one.

Trev, I’m just a curious yank. Are you saying “yob culture” is a good thing or are you saying that preventing young people from behaving violently and “anti-socially” is a futile project?
Without knowing a whole lot about the situation, I’d guess from what I’ve read that Blair et al are trying to pander to and appease the middle class without actually accomplishing much.
I think that they dont have the man power to stop hob culutre, i live in a little town and we even have it here. I know who the people are doing the vandalising and shouting abuse and the police know but they dont do anything about it. Im not sure what its like anywhere else seen so I havent experinced it anywhere else.
