I think it was called the drought of 1986. it was in september…and it wasn’t sunny all the time, but it wasn’t raining either
The next time I went, a couple months later, the weather was pretty nasty

Well I live pretty close to some mountains in Wales and it does rain quite often. I don’t mind the rain, it’s the wind I can’t stand (and it’s pretty windy here down on the coast).
I always think of Britain as a grey country.
Winds are anoying if they blow stright at you because you start to lean forward and as soon as the wind dies you bolt forwards pedaling madly
Cathy is right about living on the coast.
We get the brunt of the bad weather.
I’ve been bown off several times whilst down on the beach.
And no, that’s not prison slang for anything.
lol how do you come on a holiday for 2 weeks to england and not have it rain, lol i just whent out to practise my hopping in the rain, im telling you its not easy. im north west england you see rain 24/7.
I’m almost glad it’s raining. Almost. My unicycles are out of action.
My trials unicycle is being tuned at a little bike shop till wednesday, the creaking was just annoying ;). I’m getting a Freestyle/Street unicycle built at the same time though, something to look forward to ah!
I honestly have no idea why anyone would want to live anywhere other than in cities. It boggles the mind.

Yeh, I rode street all the time until Wales forced me to try Muni. And now I’ve started, the terrain is amazing for Muni and I love it. Sliding at high speeds down a remote mud covered mountain, dodging spiky trees, and plummetting toward sharp rocks and certain death is definitely underrated in my opinion.
stupid england, just went out for a early morning new years day ride, not a cloud in the sky, i was riding along fine, when BAM it starts raining i hate this place lol
Sussex or Southampton? Not really England, more continental. You probably have a french accent.
Up in real England , say Manchester, it rains…and rains…and rains. And has done right the way through this year.

How did you know?
Why is there a now next to uk in your profile?
Where I live the weather is bad right now. It’s Utah and December and we don’t have any snow on the ground in the valleys. But it is still like 30 F. But at least I haven’t had to shovel snow yet this year, or season.
…because at the moment, she is located in the UK?
Because I have not always lived in the UK.

ah I see
hang on i’ll just look out the window…oh look its raining what a surprise!
Yep, raining and windy here.
Living up on a prominent hill has many advantages, one of which being the times when it is raining down on the level but beautiful weather at our house…
When Heathrow was shut because of the fog before Christmas this was the weather on my scenic route to work… I only needed shorts and a t-shirt on the tops, but by the time I got to work down below I had ice on my helmet!

I don’t believe it!
It’s stopped raining and the sun has come out!
Quick! To the unicycle!
