The front tyre is a commercially studded tyre. The back one I studded myself and actually understood how to do it based on a comment from this very forum.

Best setup for a 'new' rider in the snow?

Ok @saskatchewanian 11 years later and I did it. Thanks for the guide. As it happens, this time it was not for a unicycle but I am replying here because you still you inspired me. Screws through the tyre, shown from the inside: [image] Duct tape fixes everything and in this case provides the first line of defense against pinch flats caused by flexing screw heads: [image] Two inner tubes here. The first is cut open and used as an extra liner for even more protection against the screw heads…
