because it’s an auction and if no one bid it wouldn’t be?
but if there is no reserve, why wouldn’t everyone want to wait till the last few hours, to keep the price low?

Brian, (Grasshoper) It is better to be the seller than the buyer. If they want to spend too much, sell sell sell.
In life you are either making money of spending money. I unfortuantely do too much of the later. I need to start selling stuff on e-bay. The only problem is it seems too much like work.
I just bought my new digi cam…an upgrade from my dimage X, the dimage XT (as in Shimano XT…yeah!)
There was a ‘buy it now’ that was only $15cdn more than the same item being bid on, by the same seller.
By choosing the same basic camera, i can use my spare batteries and memory. Money saved can buy me a pelican case 
thats what i am doing for ebay i plan to wait for the last few minutes to bid, i think mostly every one thinks that way. exept for morons in sofa’s case.
