The first tire looks like a Hoggy-G from 3G Bikes. Do a search in RSU for Hoggy and you should find some info about it. It is not 3.45" wide. It’s actually a little bit less wide than a Gazz. I posted measurements in RSU.
The second tire looks like a Fireball clone. There’s several different tires all using essentially the same mold or just variations (different tread designs) on the same mold. You can check the Electra web page and see their tires. Their fat tires are basically a Fireball clone.
are the fireball tires decent for muni?
i was thinking my Qu-Ax 24" would look sweet with a fireball or hoggy…
The fireball isn’t a good muni tire. It behaves poorly at lower pressures and actually needs a fairly high pressure to preform well (ability to turn, general stability, etc.). You can’t have the pressure low enough to get a lot of compression because the tire just doesn’t behave well with the pressure that low.
I have a Hoggy-G on a 24" wheel for urban riding. The Hoggy-G is nice for urban. The Hoggy has more compression in it than the fireball. The tire has its faults, but is still a fun 24" urban tire. I haven’t tried it for muni. It’s a slick so it would have almost no traction on loose dirt.
