Durability of "Pedalites"

Read a review of once on the forums but hopefully somebody can tell me how they hold up to the impacts unicycle pedals are apt to take.

I’d put them on my 36er but I still tend to fall off it a lot when pushing my riding limits.

I’ve not tried them, but they look a bit slippery to me. Can’t remember the review, but they don’t look to be spiky enough to keep your feet on safely at high rpm. Might be OK in the dry.

Durability-wise they’re probably as good or bad as any other plastic pedals.

For visibility on the road I’d say reflectors or reflective tape are just as good if not better (on ankle/shoe/frame/spokes/arms), or a valve cap light. And normal lights of course, for when the car headlights are not shining at you.

It may be worth asking on a bike forum, one set is on my Penny Farthing and another on my daughter’s bike. I’ve not had any crashes on them but hit them with a mallet a few times and they’re still fine.
At one cycle show that they were exhibiting they were bashing an early version with a hammer so I think they are pretty durable.
