a beer fridge (a really good one, takes a 24 pack easy, got it set to 2 deg.C)
3 mountain bikes - used one till i got run over on it, broke the others up for bits.
computer desk
the coffee table my feet are up on now
micro-scooter (great fun)
computer case and power supply
a bunch of VHS tapes of decent films
2 hoovers - I use one, fixed the other and gave it to charity
sony 4.0 surround speakers (oh yeh, old school. actually really good but i only have the hardware to make them stereo)
a little CD player stereo that i gave to a mate for a couple of drinks
a toolbox with some pretty usefull tools
2 big suitcases that i use when moving between university and parents place/summer jobs.

all the above were picked up on my local “bulk rubbish items” night where you leave big stuff that won’t fit in the bin at the kerb for collection by the council. i regularly see the same faces walking around carrying big things on that night like i do.

my flatmate regularly gets steaks and cakes from the skip outside a supermarket.

Well from dumpsters i have found. :smiley: :smiley:

  • Rusted uni-bike which i rustproofed and sanded down myself which now looks brand new. :slight_smile:

  • A tandem bike which i scraped for parts and sold. :smiley:

  • A old school VW engine. :smiley: :smiley:

  • A jukebox

  • 3 29er sized tyres

  • CD player/discman (had a major cracked front which was easy to fix)

  • A really mini-fridge

  • Portable TV

  • A cheapo unicycle

It was great fun. Wonder what i find next?? :smiley:

Two microwaves, both broken, one fixed with replaced fuse, a little old and muddy, the other was brand new and fixed with re-soldered transformer wires :smiley:

That’s nothin’. I found a 2006 Hummer, a wad of thousand dollar bills, a deed to a 12 bedrm mansion in Malibu and a new Iphone! :wink: (I traded in the hummer for a new Corvette, and still had $13,438 left over, so I went out on a small shopping spree!)
