dumb question #921

Let’s see if I can explain this…

We have an intranet and I’d like to develop it a bit more than it
is…and make it a bit more valuable to our organization. One thing I’d
like to do is insert some content from other sites (like weather
information). The problem is that only half of our users have internet
access. So I assume if I sign up for weather content and throw the
required HTML in the page, then those users who don’t have internet
access won’t get the info to load, correct? (Told you it was a dumb
question!) So what is the solution to integrating internet content to
an intranet?

Re: dumb question #921

Server-side pull via XML.

If the content is local, internet access to the cached information is not
necessary.

Thanks, Leo. Since I have no clue on how to do that, I’m off to search.
Thanks again.
