Hey guys does anyone know approximately how long a drive to Calgary would be from the Toronto area??? Also the best way to get there from the Toronto area. Thanks
… long drive …
Well its saying under 40 hours so not as long as I expected I guess, Im sure I could do it in 3 days, but thats basically without seeing anything. Too much to think about
Back in my ill spent yout’ I drove from Calgary to London in 35 hours. There was 2 of us, and if you weren’t driving, you were sleeping, only stopping for food and gas. We went through the northern U.S., crossing into Canada at Port Huron. It was a drive I’m glad I did, but the next time it was much more relaxed, and took a few days.
Thats not truly across Canada. It’d be fun to do, I hear the prairies are a b*tch. I hope to do it some day.

Yeah I’m trying to figure out the best route I believe purely through Canada. I actually want to leave any day now, basically when and if I figure things out. Any advice at all is wanted, or a passenger haha …
With most of my family tucked away in this corner of the province that I live in, I really haven’t had much of a reason to take off to other part of Canada.
Other then a number of trips to Halifax, I haven’t really had the drive to go much further.
However, there is the desire to see the west of course. Ive had extended parts of my family send pictures. Most of my good friends also helped to change my mind when they moved out there, heh.
I will proably avoid Toronto the other large cities as they don’t appeal much to me.
However, nothing will ever match the Underground Airport we have down here.
My dad’s done the trip a buncha times. He finished high school in Calgary (born and raised in Montreal though) and went to college in Toronto.
I think he said he and his brother could do it in 2 days, but typically took 3.
Wow in a couple of days. That would be nice but being alone I don’t think I’ll be pushing that hard and with the possible weather I’m sure it’ll be 5 or 6 days.
Hey man the prairies rock so you can just SHUT UP haha no really the prairies are quite a boring drive. Better to fly over cuz you can see that patch work eh.
