Don't forget your national flag

Hi all,

Unicon XII is almost upon us. During the opening ceremonies each country will ride in with placards bearing their country names (we have prepared those) while the national anthem of that country is played, and at the head of each team someone will hold the
ir national flags.

We have arranged for flags for each country that will be on the walls of the gym, but each country needs to bring their own flags for the opening ceremonies and possibly other occasions.

I have been asked to send a reminder to ensure you don’t forget the flag.

See you in Tokyo real soon!

Oops, too late!

Does anyone know where I can buy a NZ Flag in Australia? Or maybe I’ll just colour in the extra stars on the Aussie flag

Ken

WalMart

here in the US, we have absolutely no trouble finding a flag of our neighbors to the south. go figure.

I hope its not too far to go to find a shop in Tokyo that sells garden canes or thin plastic pipe or some thing else to use as a flag pole. The flag I have.

SArah

I’ve got a US flag in my suitcase but, like Sarah, I won’t be bringing a flag pole. Are there flag pole vending machines?
