So are there any other differences between doggy chocs and people chocs (meaning
in particular anything harmful to humans)? I only ask because I love doggy
chocs, but tend to avoid them because I’m not too sure.

Actually I love Scotbloc (cooking chocolate) too. Is that as strange as some
people seem to think?

ObUni (sort of): At the Bath Bedlam Juggling Convention a few years ago, the
organiser arranged a chocolate fondue for the Saturday evening. Everyone was
given a bag of pick n’ mix on the way in, to dip in their fondue. Anyone thought
about doing the same thing at a unicycle convention?

Prob’ly wouldn’t hurt you if eaten in moderation and as part of a balanced
diet–lots of rice, cooked lamb, and a couple of crunchy biscuits a day to
scrape the tartar off the teeth.

You’re even weirder than I thought, Danny.

Don’t you mean Mistletoad? Or did I somehow miss a chocolate fondue evening
at Bedlam?

You’re quite right, I meant Mistletoad. Don’t panic about having missed out on a
choccyfest. Maybe we should think about doing one at BUC. Do you see Claire much

  • you could ask if there’s anything useful we’d need to know? Like what sort of
chocolate works well, whether it’s a standard fondue set or a special chocolate
fondue set, whether we could borrow hers…

And we didn’t try marshmallows. What about dipping toasted marshmallows in a
chocolate fondue? Sounds good after a hard day’s muni.
