Ouch - looks sore! Have you had a tetanus shot in the last 5 years? if not, you should ask a doctor about getting one, as their is a chance of getting “lock-jaw” from dog bites.
cats taste bad … and it’s getting worse with all that stuff they eat right now!
I haven’t eaten dog yet (hope I’ll visit Korea one day).
Cat’s fur is not bad (specially if you’ve got a bad back).
The real problem is that my neighbours are fond of their cat so I don’t want to bring sorrow to them (otherwise …).
Good news is that some feral wild beast (whose name I don’t know in english: is it “marten”? ) is establishing itself in our neighbourhood and will compete with cats.
And that’s bad because then you can’t bite back.
Hmm, tetanus shot is a good idea, but only prior to the bite, I think. If I understand correctly, a tetanus shot contains a very small amount of the tetanus virus, just enough for your immune system to develop the anti-bodies to fight it.
Having a tetanus shot after you’ve been infected would do nothing(except for giving your even more of the tetanus virus).

Once you are infected and have developed tetenus, a shot won’t help. But there is a period between getting the tetenus bacteria and developing illness. The shot should be given asap, but i can’t remember what the window period is.
Im gonna chime in here, as ive had cats all my life, and dogs.
None of my cats in my life have ever left me a “gift” in my house. None of them just crap all over. They are trained to use the litterbox, or to meow to be let outside. A while ago, we had a broken toilet, which I put a plastic bag and filled with some cat litter, and trained one of my cats to actually sit on the toilet to go to the bathroom. My cats also dont smell. My dogs smell, even after bathes, but cats are always cleaning themselves, and smell fine to me. Only one of my cats vomited, but that was once, so thats not bad. I mean, my dogs end up vomiting more than the cats. Cats do have claws, and same with dogs.
Both animal can be trained. I have my cats trained not to jump up onto anything except the things I allow them too, which is just my bed and couches. Counters, tables, the fridge. I wont allow it, and they know that, and they dont do it.
I think you just dont want to accept that cats and dogs can be equally trained and obedient and everything, but you just dont like cats. =p
i have cats and dogs and admittedly none of them are really that well trained but they dont poo all over the house and my cats have stopped bringing in “gifts” as james called them. but of all my pets my hedgehogs are the best, because theyre kept in big hamster cages and are really cool, and as spiky as they are they cannot or would not hurt you or bite you, they really are awesome!!
Cats can’t be trained and men can’t ride on one wheel. End of story.
Edit: and oh, you live and you learn about tetanus.
cats can be trained. My cat is trained in the art of doing absolutely everything that i ask it not to.
As for the dog bite…
If you where told it bites… why?
If ignoring warnings was an acceptable form of humour the world would be in turmoil.
