You’re crazy man…actually there’s someone at my school who says he hates the Beatles, but I think the only reason he says that is because everyone else loves 'em, but everyone else loves 'em because they’re AMAZING!
Actually I like a lot of John Lennon’s songs after the Beatles better than I like actual Beatles songs…
Don’t know about the Beatles, but the Dung Beatles put on a pretty good performance last Saturday night. The four of us, Ringo Starbucks, Paul McFartney, George Hairless-son, and John Lemon had a great time. The audience loved us! I even think we’ve got another booking coming up.

You should give a BIG thank you to the Beatles, because without them, you wouldn’t HAVE ANY bookings! 
I like a lot of underground music (mostly punk rock that other people either don’t know about/don’t like), but I grew up listening to ‘motown’ and classic rock. I really, really like The Beatles, but one of my favorite Beatles songs has to be “While my guitar gently weeps” with Eric Clapton. Classic.
Oh yeah, and “Seargent pepper’s lonely hearts club band” into “A day in the life” is another one of my favorites…

i don’t like the beatles much at all. they wrote some nice songs but they played them really poppy-like, without spontenaety. also, four part harmony just bugs me.
however,as someone else said already, other bands have done amazing covers of their tunes.
You probably haven’t heard the right Beatles songs then…that description sounds like their earlier songs like Hard Day’s Night, She Loves You, all the ones that everyone knows…but listen to some of their later music. The Beatles wrote such a wide variety of songs, they can hardly be classified as any one genre…

well, even the stuff off of the white album and abbey road, for my tastes, is way to thought out and almost boring… if that’s the period of their music that you’re talking about…
for me, they’re not a great band. better then most pop/rock bands today though.
