Diving Board Danger

Hi! Has anyone ever ridden a unicycle off the end of a diving board into a pool?
A few summers ago, the lifeguards at a pool kept trying to convince me to do
this. I never had the guts and I was afraid of my unicycle rusting. Now I look
back and wonder if I would have been the first to do it. Thanks for any input…

Pretty much, everything basic like that was probably done a hundred years ago
(literally). I did it once at a backyard July 4 party. But I couldn’t get the
flip part worked out!

Caution: Having done it on my old Schwinn many years ago, I remember it took
days for the seat foam to dry out. Every time I rode it I got water dripping
down my leg and it was embarassing.

JeanPaul Jenack used to tell a story of riding his 6 footer off the 3 meter
board at the opening of the Nassau Community College sports complex on Long
Island. This was where artistic competition took place at UNICON II (not in
the pool).
