I’ve just started to get into ultimate wheeling, and it’s both fun and a lot of work. At this point I’m not going more than 30 meters or so, but as I’ve run into the boundaries of my practice space, I’ve gotten to wondering; how far can you go on one of these things? I know Brian Hansen did most of the Slickrock practice loop on one last year; have any of you done significant road distance on one? How far?
Ultimate wheel
I’ve gone I dont know 3 meters hehe, but my brother alec can go like around how far you can.
I haven’t done too much, maybe 100 yards or less. But I have seat dragged almost half a mile, once. (yes I measured it)
oh my god that insane. goog job with the seat drag. is a UW easier than doing seat drag?
Im sure thatBrian has done some admirable distance on his UW36" you should ask him.
Well it was on nice smooth snow. Otherwise it would have tore my seat up!
I think it is easier, yeah. If it’s a real UW with the pedals in closer to the wheel, and not like my “UW” which is just an old uni with no frame…
I think Bo (Beau?) Hoover has done like 3 miles to school on one.
I was thinking of getting a UW to go to school on
how is Bo(Beau) going¿¿
