What is a cheap way to make digital movies, is using a digital cameria with the movie feature the most bang for you buck??
Please help me!
A digital still camera is going to be the least expensive way to get video. Most of them can take video clips but the quality is going to vary. Some take better video than others. Some take grainy video while others take much clearer video. Some can only take 15 second or 30 second clips while others can take much longer clips (given enough memory). Quality and specs are going to vary.
Cheapest way would be to borrow a proper digital video camera. Can you borrow one from school or the city library or some other source? Maybe a friend? You’ll get better quality video.
Can your computer handle Firewire (also known as IEEE-1394)? You’ll need a Firewire input to be able to get the video off of a digital video camera and onto your computer.
Yes it can.
I am thinking of buying a Camcorder from brandsmart( mynorty(sp?) store that carys every thing very cheap) or maybe a real cameria store? I am leaning torwards a camcorder because a can barrow a good digital cameria when ever i want. Any Tips JC??
I don’t have any tips for camcorders. I don’t know anything about specific brands or models or even what to look for. Do some shopping around cause you can find a range of prices for the same item. Real camera stores tend to be the most expensive unless it’s a discount camera store.
You can check web prices at places like Froogle and PriceGrabber. Overstock.com can also have some good deals.
dont buy anything from aiptek. its some cheap import. in walmart today i saw one that does video for 20. not sure if id trust that tho.
I’ve been using a still camera for a while but am taking a huge leap into a higher-end DVD quality video camera, as I want to start filming for some good stuff.
A still camera works fine if you just want to make unicycle videos for the net.
my digital cammera cost me 350$ cnd last year and it has a 512 mb memory and can hold about 6 ohours of video. i like it but quality is not superior…if i had the money i would go for the real cam corder
you can get a camecorder for way under 350 oh the cnd
yeah well i dont have the 350 now…i spent it on unis. my little digi is just fine for now
I made this movie with a digital still camera. It only takes 15 seconds at a time, and has no sound.
We got it at Staples for around $60 I think.
Whats it called the cameria??
