Detroit Area Unicycle Lessons start January 13th, 2007

Tell all your friends, family, old college buddies, etc. that hang out in the Detroit area, RTUC’s beginning unicycling lessons start on January 13th, 2007. This year our gym is in Livonia. Info: http://www.rtuc.org/5lessons.html
Some might argue that lessons aren’t NEEDED to learn to ride but it might just be the dedicated time commitment that busy people need to make it work. We had 59 students last year and they were all fantastic. A good chunk of them even stayed and joined RTUC, 'cause we’re such a fabulous bunch of people.

We’re recruiting big time since we’re hosting NAUCC this year. Hope to meet you all there. www.naucc2007.com will hopefully be fully up and running by the end of the year.

If there are any riders in the area who don’t need lessons, we’d love to meet you too. Our first regular meeting of 2007 will be in the same place, January 6th, 9 am to noon. We have all ages, all abilities, all styles of riders. Don’t be shy, come join our fun.

Exactly the case for me! I tried for a month in summer 2005 and made a barely measurable bit of progress, but being an adult with more-than-full-time job I wasn’t getting enough time to get results. I took this course at the start of 2006 and was a level one rider by the last day. :smiley:
