I was looking at Google Video and I found the whole video of Defect on Google Video!

Im sure dan can sue them for this. Easily.

Defect im sure whas copyrighted, giving this person no right to post this in a free place, without sponsoriing the video in any way.

Its also been talked about in another thread a few weeks ago, and again a few months ago.

But the more thread getting amde about it, the more people will probably watch it, just making it worth it that I put it up in the first place.

There’s a big difference between pirating something made by a big corporation, or some rich muscian and pirating something that one guy put several years of his life into. If people are watching Defect, Dan should get rewarded and in this case he’s not. Therefore, I reckon it’s wrong.

i have not yet watched this… and i dont plan to if everyone thinks it is so bad. i agree that it is not a good thing, but do you guys think it would be bad to watch this, because i haven’t seen the movie and dont want to if it will be considered a disgrace to do so from this link.

I wont have any hard feelings for you for watching it. Its the internet, and it was bound to happen.

Others though get pretty upset, even though they have mp3s and torrents downloading at the same time they type to you how bad it is you watched Defect online.

i still know how much work goes into a video such as this, even though mine probably aren’t near as good. i dont want to steal legitamint work if it is illegal and seriously looked down apon.

I dont know how illegal it is, or if it is at all to watch it from google.

Watching it though, and some people will look down on you, perhaps call you names, and get pretty harsh about it.

Also, it may not be horribly illegal, but it does violate Copyright laws, as Dan (Presumably), has no knowledge of the posting and has not given consent. Therefore, while it may not be likely to be punished by law for watching this, it is, in my mind, wrong.
