You want a dedicated server? What sort of things do you want? A couple of
us have Cobalt RAQs from http://www.4webspace.com , which is linux but has
an easy to use interface that someone not too familiar with unix/linux
system administration would have no problem using.

  • Gilby

I would suggest what Gilby suggested, getting your own server. I’ve found
it to be much more reliable, and great for instant gratification
(4webspace.com is a good provider at $99 a month for a dedicated raq3)

If you still would like shared hosting, I could host your site if you like
http://special.globie.com . Let me know what kind of options you need.

Suggestion for Rodney: the prices seem weird. A $9.99 per month but a
non-discounted price of $199 per year. The math doesn’t work as yearly
costs more than monthly. After looking at your regular page, I think you
might want to add the striked out price to the monthly part too and then
put the offered price in red.

I don’t understand what you’re saying? A yearly price of $99 is more than
a monthly price of $9.95? what kind of math is that?

You have the special prices in red (nice and bold on top). Only the $99
per year is in red, not the $9.99. You have the crossed out value of $199
per year which looks like the standard price. Since the $9.99 isn’t in
red, it looks like the standard price. Since $9.99 times 12 is $119.88 and
is less than the yearly price of $199.

Well, I don’t know what the truth is, but he did say $199 per year, not
$99 per year. Now, what it says on your site is different altogether

Yeah, and since the $9.95 is a special price, you might want to note that
and make it red since at the top is says in big bold red letters that
“SPECIAL PRICES ARE MARKED IN RED!”

I just got a sales call from dialtone internet saying they could beat
4webspace’s prices and not charge for additional ips. The sales lady was
ANNOYING, so I didn’t listen to her hard sell for long…they might be
another option though…

Telemarketing… even worse than spam. I can choose when I want to deal
with email spam, but can’t choose when the telemarketers call me.

How do you know it was a telemarketer? What if Rodney contacted them
first, and they were returning his call?

Because I asked him

conversations held outside of wd cannot be entered into evidence

Sure you can, all you need to do is the following, get caller ID, have the
phone company put a block on all incoming calls that do not have caller ID
information turned on (99% of telemarketing firms disable caller ID on
there phones, and all auto dialing machines do also) for any friends or
family who have caller ID turned off you tell them the secret two digit
code given to you by the phone company that will allow them to get through
the block.
