By the way, any one else see NUC on “You gotta see
this!” Fox sports net. I saw the segment twice, it was
great.
Yep, I saw that. The You Gotta See This thing, that is. Its the first time i ever saw unicycling on TV where the focus was NOT MUNI, but rather artistic routines. Its nice to see the spotlight taken away from Kris Holm every once in a while (just kidding, I still love ya Kris, Always have)

Yeah, I saw “You Gotta See This” also… The segment was great, but they made
you wait till the end of the show to see the unicyclists… I had to watch
some guy flip his car and catch on fire… boring…

On “You gotta see this” The preview for the segment
was for unicycle hockey. They showed that, artistic,
group, pairs, trials, and some racing. IT was really
well done, im supprised the group hadnt heard it was
going to be on b efore it was!

Thanks Nick. Does anybody know who it was in the unicycle clips?
The ones I was able to pick out were Dan Heaton and Kris Holm for the extreme part, and Andy and Constance Cotter for the pairs. I think that the toronto unicyclists were featured for the group artistic part, but I could be totally wrong.

Awesome clip. Everyone should watch it if they have the bandwidth, and have
an understanding of what the flatland freestylers do.
But yes, I have seen unicyclists riding as smooth as that. Our Freestyle
event is different, but what about Kazuhiro from Japan (our current
Freestyle world champion)? And others before him.

Another excellent clip. Flatland looks like more and more unicycle-type
stuff. Though it’s not the same as what we do, this does not mean it’s any
less hard. Assume it is more hard, because a great many more people are
doing it.

Calm down. Seriously. It was obviously a joke that he didn’t mean. I saw that episode like a month and a half ago (before I cancelled my cable TV service) and posted it here back then. Why? Because I thought it was funny. If you have watched his show enough to pick up on his personality, you would realize that is just his sense of humor. I’m sure if he met you on the street and you guys talked, he’d treat you right and talk with you and mess around with you a little.
Dave rarely if ever really insults people, but he does goof around a lot. Anytime he says something directly like “We have one thing in common guys, we hate unicyclists” then he is clearly just rattling the Sabre of Comedy.
I thought it was pretty funny, and I’m a unicyclist.

Im not really that pissed off at all. I come off that
way sometimes, and its hard to show my particular
brand of sarcasm in text only. I thought it was funny
too, Dave is great, I bet he and I would get along
fantasticly, from what I’ve seen of his show.
Ouch- brutal honesty. Why don’t you come cleen, Lewis? Dave wouldn’t come over with a 6 pack and hang any more if Leuie didn’t stick up for 'em. If that weren’t bad enough, now we find out that Lewis is British…shiesh!
