I assume you mean 18 wheels. Some of the big rigs are going to 10 wheels with one wide tire replacing a dual set of tires.

Wow, old thread. But i slightly disagree. I think that the sport you participate in could affect your IQ. I race motocross and have all my life, and as i have gotten older i have realized how stupid most of them really are. They have let racing controll their life and they drop out of school of the dream as a “Pro Racer” and its ignorent. I am a Product Manager at my fathers graphic company and when we started we spent days thinking of a name that Motocrossers could actually spell, i find that sad that we actually have to pick a short name for the sake of the company.
For example go to any motocross forum and read around, and come here. Over there you have people saying “**** you **** piece of *** im right and your wrong.” and a bunch of immature nonsense. But come over here and people have intellegent debates, and can argue with out making yourself look like a fool.

I never understood why 18 wheels is considered the standard for truck-trailer combos. most around here have 30.
on the #11 I have seen triples with 46 but I think they are only allowed on the divided highway.
On the subject of intelligence there does seem to be a disproportionate number of physicists and engineers who unicycle…
