Middle school dances were lame, IMO…though I still went to all of them. Wait until high school dances…those are effing fun.

We don’t have ‘dances’ over here, but I went to my prom, hated it haha. I was a nob tho.
Wait till you and mates start goin’ clubbing, thats where it gets fun. But that might be hard for you americans… You need to be 21? If so that sucks, I can get into clubs here (I’m 17), but often I need to borrow ID off someone that looks like me. Oh, and clubs and alcomahol are allowable at 18.

I don’t really see the need to be drunk and go out to restricted clubs just to enjoy dancing. I have a very good time dancing without being intoxicated.
Increasing your enjoyment of dance isn’t the point of such clubs.
Honestly, I’ve never really understood the point of clubs. I used to think I understood…you go in, buy a tasty drink, dance for enjoyment, then leave - but then I hear people like you say the dancing isn’t even that integral. So why even go? You could just as easily buy a drink at the liquor store and chill with friends at a less hot and smelly location.

But, nevertheless, I love going out, giving it the large one so to speak haha. I guess why I like clubbing is to do with girls hahaha, I love it, just people there to have a good time, not feeling awkward or anything.
But, thats great if you don’t like being drunk, cheaper. But anyway, PM me if you want to carry this on.
Back to dances, anybody got a good story from an american dance? I can’t really imagine one, 'cept from the cinima and Simpsons.

To be frank I’m not a huge fan of clubs either, you really have to be drunk to enjoy the ones round here, but dancing with several hundred other people gives this incredible euphoria that i haven’t really experienced anywhere else. It’s pretty difficult to explain in words. I would say that most clubs, around here anyway (they’rea ll student clubs) are designed to enhance the experience of being drunk more than anything else.
I only enjoy clubs after a few drinks, but drinks in clubs are way too expensive. So, I don’t go much.
Maybe I should get drunk before going…
Be careful, I went clubbing with a mate last night and he drunk a litre of vodka… I walked with him home at 3 in the AM and it took soooo long, he was well annoying. He slept in a hammock outside (this is Britain, FREEZING) all night. I just text him and he’s ok, but he lost his keys.
And Dave hit the nail on the head with girls. Short skirts long hair love it when they walk yeah. I’m on cloud nine, you look so fine, I can’t wait to make you mine. I kinda like it when you walk past, got to take a glance, body shaped like an hourglass.
Anyway… Last night wasn’t so good, I guess because of girls.

I went to a school dance last week.
it was the 8th grade end of el year dance, and it was on a boat. the bad thing was that the boat didnt even move:(
the funnest part for me, was when everyone “accidently” spilled water on the deck, and so everyone was sliding around on it.
