Custom Pedal Paint Jobs Anyone?

Has anyone painted their pedals? What did you do and how did it come out? I was looking around and for some weird reason nice green pedals are hard to come by. Or, if you know where to get green pedals feel free to tell me where :p.

You can order them from tartybikes. They will come from the UK, but they have a variety available in green.

Paint is gonna flake off real quick. It’s best to powder-coat instead.

Ones I powder coated still chipped baf

Thanks, I may just do that sometime.

Fwiw I ordered some stuff from the UK last week and got it in 6 days with free shipping. Not from tasty, but I’ve heard good things about them.

I have ordered alot and keep using them, I deft recomend

uppppppppppppppppp

On aluminum, anodizing would last and look pretty good. For plastic pedals, having them molded in green plastic is the way to go.
As mentioned earlier, painting and powdercoating will chip off pretty much no matter what you do. But if you have a relatively cheap set of pedals, why not just get a can of Krylon green at the hardware store and have at it? When they get scratched or chipped, just shoot 'em again. No reason the paint has to last forever. (I like it when people get creative.) Post pictures!
(Keep in mind that one guy about 5 or 6 years ago single-handedly started a trend of do-it-yourself auto painting with Rust-Oleum and a roller. People got intrested, started experimenting, and turned out some amazing paint jobs. They weren’t going to last for 10 years, but on the upside, re-dos and touch-ups were nothing. Never underestimate the power of trying something different.)
