Cumbria Muni'ers

Hello,
does anybody ride in cumbria, uk? (there must be, because of the notice on the homepage), If so, can anybody recommend us some good ride spots, as we hope to visit over summer, for some good muni. Preferably with a campsite nearby, to stay at. We already know about Grisedale but is there anywhere else?

Thankyou

Muni routes in Cumbria UK

There are a few of us who muni in Cumbria. Contact me direct with your details and I will supply you with a number of route suggestions for your holiday.

Alternatively, ‘join the club’, (open to all) and contribute to/ receive copies of our guidebook to the Lakes as it builds in size. You can still join even if you dont live in Cumbria or can only go to the monthly meets 3 or 4 times a year. Most of our members seem to live in the north.

All the standard MTB routes are open to you.
Walna Scar Road is top fun.
Blacksail pass into Wasdale Head is v. tough but fun
(good NT campsite at Wasdale).

Find some bridleways and investigate. MTBers seem to
rave about Helvellyn - why not try it?
