Crime Spree

Yeah, my vote is proseccute, I had one sweet team stumpjumper stolen and to this
day I miss that bike, and I had all my cd’s stolen (twice), thieves, even drunk
students, are going to have to learn, even the hard way, that stealing is WRONG.

I find now a days that no one even considers if something is right or wrong,
it’s what they can get away with. (This goes right to the top of society, a
certain Mr. Clinton and Nixon come to mind)

I once saw a bicyclist get pushed off the road by a big (stupid) macho dude in a
moving car, and the cyclist wouldn’t even call the cops after I had stopped the
car AND gotten him a cell phone.

Grrr.

I’m with Mr Foss on this one. What if it was your only uni?

Let the young mans parents think about what kind of person they raised.

Besides it’s america, land of the lawyers (700,000 at last count!) You have to
give them crimes to defend! (Irony Alert)

How do you secure a unicycle to a bike rack? Through the tire? And where do you
carry the lock and chain when you’re riding? I think I’d rather try checking it
at the front desk or the coat room of whatever place I’m visiting. Tina

I ride a unicycle to school every day, and yep, I lock it to the bike rack
through the tire. Sometimes when I get out of school at the end of the day, I
find that my uni has been knocked over, so I think it’s definitely a good idea
to lock it up. I carry the lock in my backpack.

I use a padlock with a cable that’s flexible enough to loop tightly around each
part of the junction between forks and seat post. If you run it around enough
times, it’s extremely difficult – but probably not impossible – to get the
unicycle out without cutting the cable.

Of course a decent pair of bolt cutters would make short work of the cable…

And when you’re on the move, the cable and padlock can be looped around
your belt.

As you all know I’ve done 3 1/2 people without a ramp (or killing anyone). I
think there may be a picture in an old USA Newsletter of Floyd Crandall doing a
ramp jump over a bunch of prone persons. It was a regular part of the shows put
on by the Pontiac Unicyclists. USA Founding member Bernard Crandall (Floyd’s
dad) was always the last guy in the line. He jumped over their butts, so minimal
damage would result in the event of an accident.

Back when I used to play with the Redford ramps, I’m sure my friends and I could
have managed six people easily, and I’m sure Floyd has done at least that many.
