Creaky Torker Pedal

Anybody else having this problem or know a solution?

The right pedal on my Torker is making terrible creaking sounds. I’ve checked the tightness of the nut to the crank and it’s fine; it seems to be the pedal that’s making the noise. It doesn’t spin freely like the left one, rather, it seems to stick in certain places in the rotation. I don’t know if I have to buy new pedals at this point or what, but it’s only been 2.5 months since I’ve had it.

I’m not sure if this is where you checked when tightening the pedal, but I would try to tighten the spindle of the pedal.

Your going to have to take off the end cap on the pedal and then use a ratchet to tighten it up. You may also want to just overhaul the pedal at the same time and make sure that the bearings in the pedal are still in ok shape.

That said it may be too much work for the Torker Pedal, and you may just want to upgrade.
