i went to Falls City for the 1st time in like 5 months and there is some crazy stuff there now…mile long skinnys, roller coaster style ladder rides 5 feet off the ground and a freakin fast transition to verticle berm 20 feet in the air!
when DDR loads the pix, i’ll post a thread in RSU but i just had to post here to say somthing about it…INSANE!
Falls City is a fun place to ride. They have the support of the land owners there to build the stuff as long as it stays within the bounds that they have set. It’s fantastic. It means that quality structures can be built rather than renegade stuff that is at risk of being torn down at any moment. I’m gonna have to go back.
The trails near Hood River are also interesting and I need to explore those trails some more.
I sense a road trip down to Oregon coming up.
yeah, another thing i noticed today was, you know how there is that main fire road to get to the top? well i was amazed at how much stuff can be scene just off the road.
we were constantly temped by stuff all the way to the top. imajine riding up a fire road and seeing ladder bridges sitting in the forest all the way up!
its amazing what the Black Rock Free Ride Assc. has done up there and all with the Dept. of Forestry’s go ahead.
