How in the world is this done?
was the lady at the start just two small ladies stacked on top of eachother and then when they pulled apart they let go and one stayed in the skirt and the other in the top?
it would have freaked me out
I don’t know. She seemed to walk fairly normally over to the bench at the beginning. It didn’t appear that it was two people.
maybe it is real magic!!!
…though that is pretty wierd.
that was freaky, i’m almost sure that it was two people
ive seen a trick pretty much the same as that. everyone knows it - the one where they get some one, put them in a wooden box and cut them in half. all they did for that was get two flexable people that could pretty fold themselves in half. so im guessing that that was two small people.
and why was the girl he choose first two small?
to make it seem like he was picking at random, he picked an accual volenteer, then he picked the staged person, that was insane though, i dont get how he does like any of his tricks

An appropriate choice of words?
I think the legs were fake.
the legs weren’t fake. didn’t you see the toes wiggling at the end?
There are a lot of cuts and camera angles. Probably the same way they made Lt. Dan’s legs disappear when he jumped of Forrest’s boat.
I was going to say, it really bugged me how often they cut the camera. You have no idea how many times they paused, explained to people to act worried, and switched the volunteer to a dwarf or something. Who knows, but it’s not real.
It certianly isn’t a trick that cold be done live. The joys of editing and planted audiences sure have changed the art of magic
i watched that like 4 or 5 times and enjoyed it everytme. I know some magic but can’t figure it out. The girl that he picked was acually a stage person. i think it was two people because if you look close and watch it many times you could probably figure it out
Are we supposed to assume the people assembled in the video are not actors? Until informed otherwise, I will assume that they are. Whole performance is staged. Top half of girl could be a woman with no legs, or just a bunch of clever editing & stuff. I prefer the theory of a woman with no legs, along with a tall woman who looks and is dressed similar.
Why a skirt? I knew there was something fishy when I saw the second volunteer had a skirt on. Skirts can hide more stuff.
Anyway, it is magic afterall. Magic is when you fool people.
…and the tallness of the volunteer wouldn’t really matter for this trick.
The evidence is all in the video… the performance was poorly staged and was likely edited by a room full of Fox news anchors (read: drooling slack-jawed idiots).
If you look towards the end of the video, as the “volunteers” are about to tug on the woman’s arms and legs, you’ll see a few members of the video crew dressed in black, sitting on the grass behind the bench… when the top half of the woman “runs” off, the video cuts to another camera angle and no one is sitting on the grass.
Another discontinuity occurs during the “wiggling toes” closeup. You’ll see the magician walk away from the end of the bench and towards the lower half of the torso, but when the video cuts to the closeup of the wiggling toes, you can see the magician’s shoes underneath the bench, as if he were still standing at the end of the bench.
To support the “woman with no legs” theory, notice how the magician supports the back of her head when she lays down on the bench. If she were truly in two pieces at this point, her top half would flop right over once she leaned back on the bench… the magician seems to prevent this by supporting her head.
Also notice how adept she is at standing / running on her hands. It looks as if she’s been doing that for quite some time… it takes a bit of balance and upper body strength to perform such a feat. Either she’s been practicing this trick for some time or she is actually deformed…
I kno its all fake and lies but i still love watching that kind of street magic. Criss Angel and David Blaine are 2 of my favourite magicians/illusionists in the world.
And it is just lies when some one says" Im a Magician!" he basically saying," Im gonna lie to you and fool you, Thats my job"
I think alot of that street magic stuff is staged and even the people around him are in on it, I just searched for David Blaine on youtube and thebeer trick came up. Notice how he convieniently moves the empty beer can out of frame just as he is ‘magically’ turning it into a new can.
…that’s odd. It never goes out of frame in the slow-mo toward the end.
