Cranks???

I have been thinking about putting 137s on my 24" oracle. the question comes in should I put the 137s from my 19" KH trials on my muni and put shorter cranks like 125s or even 110s on my street/trials or should i just get a new set of 137s.

I like the idea of more speed on my street so i can get more momentum for gapping stairs but what would the disadvantages be to the shorter cranks for street/trials.

thank you :),

Sam

It’s pretty typical to run 125’s for street I think. It will give you less hopping leverage then 137’s, but I’d go with shorter then 137 anyway, especially if you want to move a little faster.

I use 125mm for trials and a little bit of flat and street and that’s fine but I wouldn’t go shorter.

thanks for the advice

Stage 1 is complete i have put the 137s on my Muni and my trials currently has the 150s while i wait for the 125s to come

Wow, it must be hard to turn on the trials with 150s.

put the 125s on my trials, not sure if i like them yet there a bit wobbly I hope i get used to them soon

What do you mean by wobbly?

If they wobble on the axle tighten them ASAP before it starts to wear the teeth on the axle.

150 is pretty dam long for street on a 19, but I know several have run them for trials (there was no 137ish option for their hub, just 125 or 150)

I mean that i wobble a bit more from side to side when ridding fast up to a jump
