Crank Sizes

What is the point in short cranks for freestyle? Is it better for turns/spins etc?
What is the point in medium cranks?
What is the point for having longer cranks?

and medium cranks?

medium cranks = more medium, mediumer

Faster than long cranks.
More torque than short cranks.

I know I know, very surprising isn’t it

A middle of the road setup, best of both worlds.

I think people are just more comfortable with a certain setup, we are all different sized people and our bodies all work a little bit different, short cranks feel good to some while longer cranks feel better to others.

The question was specifically about cranks for freestyle, so a generic answer about torque and speed is probably not helpful.

I don’t ride freestyle, but I have two pairs of cranks sold as designed for “freestyle”: they are 114mm and 125mm.

I would suggest that rather of thinking in terms of control and torque, a freestyler might think that longer (125mm) allows more basic control, and shorter (114mm) allows more finesse.

In all categories of riding, the correct length of cranks depends on your shape, fitness, skill level and preference.

Yeah that was helpful. It really was the way i figured them to be but i was just making sure.

Yes.
