crank problem

I lost one of the bolts on my cranks and was trying to tighten them
but I couldn’t fit the ratchet inside the hole. How am I supposed to
find one that will fit?

there is a bike tool specifically made for that.

They aren’t common on bikes any more, so it may be tough finding one.

Are you using a 14mm socket? That SHOULD fit

I believe they make thin-wall sockets as well

!

there should be an extenision in your ratchet kit u have and if there is’nt well sorry bud but your out of luck :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: crank problem

You gotta use a thin walled 14mm socket or a bicycle crank nut wrench.

Don’t panic!

A normal 14 mm socket will fit.

Failing that, a 14mm ‘box spanner’ which is more or less a hexagonal tube with a hole drilled through it for you to put a T bar through.

Failing that (!) get the proper tool, readily available from Unicycle.uk.com or any good bicycle shop. Price in UK is well under 10 quid. Say 10 - 15 US $.

It is one of the most important tools in a unicyclist’s kit, so it won’t be money wasted. i never ride without one.

do’nt even think about riding your uni untill its fixed.

and see the faq at http://www.evilewan.unicyclist.com
for how to tighten it up properly.
