crank arms with helicoils

I was playing around with my set of Summit crank arms I bought from
unicycle.com. After making a jump or two, I noticed the right crank feels
very slightly bent. Upon inspection, everything looked fine. The right
crank was actually a left crank that had a helicoil type insert used to
right-handed thread it. So, I wonder if this repair was a point of
weakness. Has anyone experience with these?

I have a set of “Tracer” cranks with a retapped/helicoiled right crank
(also from unicycle.com) and they’ve been fine. I’ve been riding them for
2-3 months now and haven’t had any problems with them.
