yep, that the pedal thread standard.
I concur, for some reason the standard for all pedal thread is 9/16" AF (ok 1/2" on some really crappy bikes) Not sure they’d be great for uni, i certainly wouldn’t stand on them or attempt any type or hopping or dropping or hard use, for the money buy a different length set of standard cranks.

I was considering them for only road use. For $10 on eBay, what the heck!
I would buy them for even like $30 just to try them on a coker. I can see them being strong enough for road use even with the torque we use in stopping. They look like a pretty clever and effective design to me. But, since I don’t own a coker, I won’t be bidding.
