crank arm install ?

Need to install my crank arms. What should they be torqued to? Thread locker? I am using a Nimbus Cromo hub and Moment arms.
Thanks
Jack

on a standard hub it shouldnt need thread locker or a specific torque, that is only needed on a schlumpf which cannot have crank spacers.

just use a long 8mm wrench to tighten it up as far and tight as it will go. make sure that you install the crank spacers.

retighten every few days for the first couple of weeks, then check tightness every month or so.

Thank you

Thanks

You should install them with plenty of white grease. This helps the tapered spline fit on fully. It should be tightened snuggly against the spacer.

As a general note, you should tighten both sides sequentially increasing the torque each time - do not tighten one side up fully and then the other, especially on composite hubs.

install

KH Moment 165 arms-Nimbus Cromo hub-6mm spacers. Have the arms tighten down pretty good but don’t make it to the spacers. Do I need bigger spacers?
