Do you think if we were switched into a different body unicyclists would still be able to ride? Or do you think its our muscle memory and we wouldnt be able to?
Uhm… assuming you keep your brain because that’s the only thing that would still define you, I would say yes you can still do it. Unless the person u switched into is so unfit that you can’t physically possibly ride
i dont think we could ride but it would come quick.
many things in uning are mussle memory
like free mounting, i naturaly bring my foot to the crank arm flying at me
I’m gonna disagree with w. lu. A lot of unicycling is simply what you said, 2280, muscle memory. Certain muscles in unicyclists are worked much more than a normal person (hell if I know which ones, though), and have memorized what to do when you start riding. No matter how mentally prepared for it you are, someone else’s fresh, unused unicycling muscles won’t even get you 3 feet.
well assuming we still have our own brains i think we could do it…cuz alot of uni is abput ballance which comes from our inner ear which is located in the brain. so i think we could do it.
I think we couldn’t do it at first, because we would need to get used to our new body. but it would take like ten minutes before we would ‘remember’ how to ride.
I think.
I think it would be the same as anything else that we can do now. My guess is it would take a while for our brains to get used to exactly how the new body moved. At first I don’t think anything would work; we probably couldn’t even walk, but once the new body was “figured out” unicycling would be pretty easy (although very tiring, since the new muscles probably wouldn’t be used to it).
well can i switch bodies with jsm. i wanna get the feeling of doing a backward coast.!
