Converting Vids

Ok so I will openly admit that this may not belong in this forum, but I think I will get the best response here, so I’m giving it a shot. And in a round a bout way it def involves unicycling vids. So maybe I am safe.

So anyway, I purchased an iPod today and am looking to put my unicycling vids on it. I was wondering what a reliable and preferably inexpensive or even better FREE program would be for converting movies to my iPod. Thanks for the help.

I use Instant Handbrake, which is free and pretty powerful. I’m a mac user, but it’s multiplatform. I just use the default settings, but there are lots of ways to tweak it, if you want to get special results.

hmm
radvid is good, made by Bink and Smacker

You’ll actually get better responses here from the techies who do stuff like this regularly.

This is Alex/monkeyman:

There’s a program called iTube where you can put in the URL of any YouTube vid, and it’ll convert it to iPod video.
