Converting my saddle.

Currently i have a “axiom” “kris holm” saddle on my Unicycle, and a Unicycle.com seat on my other unicycle. I was wanting to convert / make one into a street saddle with a low profile, as both saddles have high profiles.

I know there are lots of posts about this, but im interested in making my own seat cover. So does anyone know where i could get a template for the materials from?

Also, which is the better saddle out of the two, i know the Axiom one is comfier, however it also seems more flexible, is it supposed to be? e.g to stop it from shattering?

Also, if i convert One of the saddkes, will it look messy or can a high standard of finish and comfort be achieved by it?

Finally, if any british riders or any riders for that fact have spare seat parts i could use it would be highly appreciated, i really dont want to try it on one of my only seats first time however i wouldnt like to pay a fortune for it… Being a student moneys abit tight :stuck_out_tongue: (hope all that made sense)

Thanks in advance, All help appreciated.
Matt.

Also, what happends if you cut the foam wrong / cant get the staples back in?

Urhg i worry too much ://

(sorry for the double post, edit button wouldnt work)

Search the forum, theres some examples there somewhere. cut the foam with a sharp knife, or a bread knife, keep it smooth on the top surface. Just glue the cover back on when your done.

If you want to staple it back on, you will need a gun stapler. For more info, use the search
