Wow. I’m shocked.
You know what I’m going to say, and what others are going to say.

I don’t need to say it, you know it all. One question: why not add to an already existing jesus thread?

Because, according to some, God and or Jesus is like that one friend we all have who will lend you 5$ then make you do all this stuff to pay him back way after he helped. Except it is like everyday no matter what you do has to be for them. If this sounds familiar “Dude two years ago I lent you…”

Accept Jesus Christ?
And all we get is a trophy, and eternal happiness?

Listen, I’m sure Jesus would be a really cool cat to hang out with, but he is long dead.
His lessons still live on today (Golden Rule, love thy neighbor, The Kingdom of God is within, etc.), and I certainly accept those…but Jesus was a man, nothing more. Worthy of being remembered, but not worshiped.

Also, you can NOT force yourself to believe something.

I wish I could just leave this thread with disdain, but the reccurent, regular god or whatever advertising gets me mad.
I wish I could stay open minded and not bother with all this sh*t, but the problem is that I tend to generalise and reject all forms of proselitism (sp?) mostly BECAUSE of those bl**dy “… for Jesus” theads.

Hey! why didn’t I think of it earlier?? Ignore list is the key to eternal happyness, for me at least. And I’ll be able to discuss with faithfull people without thinking "Iark probably another Skrobo clone :angry: )

While I respect the Judeo-Christian ethic, as well as Eastern philosophy and of course the teachings of Muhammad, I find that organized religion has corrupted these beliefs in order to justify countless atrocities throughout history. Were I to attend church, I would be a hypocrite.
