As I was out riding today in Eugene, Oregon (USA), home of the University of
Oregon and more than its fair share of unusual body ornaments, I passed a woman
(walking) who had a ring through her nose. Unfortunately, she did not ask me
where my other wheel was. If she had, I would have gladly countered: “Where’s
your chain?”
